Cable for cable carriers – reliability in dynamic applications

This exceptionally flexible cable with a PUR jacket is designed for operation in demanding conditions, especially in cable carriers and energy chains. Its construction and materials guarantee long-term reliability even with intense bending and movement. The cable is compatible with SIEMENS (6FX 8008-) and BOSCH REXROTH (INK INDRAMAT) standards, making it an ideal choice for modern automation systems.

Construction and properties

The cable stands out with its advanced construction, providing optimal electrical and mechanical parameters. It uses stranded copper conductors twisted according to DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 (class 6 – multi-wire, very flexible) standards. The insulation is made of special polypropylene, and the copper braid screen provides high effectiveness in suppressing electromagnetic interference (EMC). The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) is characterized by high resistance to abrasion, oils, hydrolysis and UV radiation. Additionally, it is halogen-free and does not contain substances that interfere with painting.

The cable has 8 cores with a cross-section of 0.25 mm², which allows for the transmission of control and power signals. Low capacitance (approx. 70 nF/km between cores) minimizes signal loss and ensures precise data transmission. This makes it ideal for use in encoders, feedback devices and motor control systems.
