High-temperature silicone cable – reliability in harsh conditions
This single-core silicone cable is designed to operate in extreme temperatures, both low and high. It is characterized by exceptional flexibility and resistance to external factors, making it an ideal choice for industrial and specialized applications. This cable is particularly valued in industries such as metallurgy, steelworks, aerospace, shipyards, as well as in the cement and ceramic industries. The halogen-free construction allows for its safe use even in power plants.
Construction and properties
The cable is made of copper, which guarantees excellent electrical conductivity. The flexible stranded wire class 5 provides high flexibility and facilitates installation. Silicone insulation provides resistance to high temperatures (up to +180°C in stationary and flexible operation and up to +180°C on the conductors) and to the action of many chemicals, such as oils, greases, acids and alkalis. The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500 V. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 3 mm with a conductor cross-section of 1.5 mm². The cable meets the DIN VDE 0250-1 and 502 standards and has an IEC 60332-1-2 certificate confirming its fire resistance.
