Silicone cable for demanding conditions
This flexible, single-core silicone cable is designed to operate in extreme temperatures and harsh industrial environments. It is characterized by high resistance to external factors and provides a reliable connection in demanding applications. This cable is particularly valued for its flexibility, which facilitates installation and routing in tight spaces.
Construction and properties
The cable is made of flexible stranded copper wire (class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228), which ensures high mechanical strength and resistance to bending. Silicone insulation guarantees flexibility over a wide temperature range – from -60°C to +180°C (stationary operation) and from -25°C to +180°C (flexible operation). The rated voltage is 300/500V, and the outer diameter is approximately 2.7 mm for a cross-section of 1 mm². The cable is halogen-free, which increases safety and limits the emission of toxic substances in the event of a fire – it meets the IEC 60332-1-2 standard.
