This single-core silicone wire is designed to operate in extreme temperatures, both low and high. It is characterized by exceptional flexibility and chemical resistance, making it an ideal solution for demanding industrial applications. This wire is used in metallurgy, the aerospace industry, cement plants, and many other sectors where standard cabling fails. It is a halogen-free product, which increases safety.
Construction and properties
The wire is made of flexible class 5 stranded copper conductor, providing good conductivity and resistance to bending. Silicone rubber insulation guarantees resistance to high temperatures (up to +180°C in stationary operation and +200°C for short periods) and a wide operating temperature range from -60°C. The rated voltage is 300/500V, and the test voltage is 2000V. The minimum bending radius for mobile installations is 15 times the wire diameter, and for fixed installations – 6 times. The wire meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU and standards regarding halogen-free materials (PN-EN 60754-1 and PN-EN 60754-2) and flammability (PN-EN 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-1-2).
