High-temperature silicone wire – reliability in harsh conditions
This brown, single-core silicone wire is a solution for installations requiring flexibility and resistance to extreme temperatures. The wire is designed to operate in a wide temperature range, from -60°C to +180°C continuously, and briefly up to +200°C. It is used where standard wires fail – in the metallurgical, steel, aviation, shipbuilding, cement and ceramic industries, as well as in power plants. Its halogen-free construction increases safety.
Construction and properties
The wire is characterized by flexibility thanks to the multi-strand tinned copper core of class 5. Silicone rubber insulation provides not only resistance to high temperatures but also to oils, greases, acids and other chemicals. The minimum bending radius is 6x the wire diameter for fixed laying and 15x the wire diameter for mobile installations, making it easy to install even in tight spaces. The wire meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU and has a CE certificate.
