Single-core silicone wire, high temperature resistant SiF 1x2.5mm² transparent 23710
Silicone wire for demanding conditions
This single-core silicone wire is the ideal solution wherever standard cabling fails. It is characterized by exceptional resistance to extreme temperatures and harsh industrial conditions. Made of copper with a flexible silicone insulation, it provides a reliable connection in applications requiring high flexibility and durability.
Construction and properties
The wire is designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -60°C to +180°C (stationary) and from -25°C to +180°C (flexible). The multi-strand flexible copper conductor, class 5, ensures good conductivity and easy installation. The silicone insulation guarantees not only thermal resistance but also chemical resistance – the wire is resistant to oils, greases, acids, alkalis and many other substances. Additionally, this material is halogen-free, which increases safety in case of fire. The wire meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0250-1 and 502 standards and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the LVD 2014/35/EU directive.
Applications and benefits
The wire finds application in many industries: steel, metallurgical, aviation, shipbuilding, cement and ceramic. It will also be useful in power plants. Its flexibility makes installation easier even in tight spaces, and resistance to high temperatures allows its use near heat sources. The minimum bending radius (15x wire diameter for flexible operation and 6x for fixed) allows for routing cabling in complex systems. Thanks to this, the wire is a reliable element of electrical installations in demanding working conditions.
