High-temperature silicone cable – reliability in extreme conditions

This 12-core HELUTHERM SiHF cable with a cross-section of 0.5 mm² is a flexible and durable solution for applications requiring resistance to extreme temperatures. The cable is distinguished by its high thermal resistance, maintaining flexibility even in the most difficult conditions. It is ideal for both industrial installations and specialized applications where standard cables fail. Core identification according to DIN VDE 0293-308 simplifies installation and servicing.

Construction and properties

The cable is designed for reliability and durability. It consists of multi-strand, twisted copper cores insulated with high-quality silicone. The cores are twisted in layers, and the whole is surrounded by a special silicone sheath in brick red color. This construction provides not only resistance to high and low temperatures (from -60°C to +180°C, briefly up to +220°C), but also chemical resistance to oils, greases, acids and other aggressive substances. The cable is halogen-free, which increases safety and minimizes the risk of toxic gases in the event of a fire.
