High-temperature silicone cable – reliability in extreme conditions
This multi-core HELUTHERM SiHF cable, made of high-temperature resistant silicone, is an ideal solution for applications requiring reliability in harsh conditions. The cable meets DIN VDE 0250 part 1 and DIN VDE 0285-525-2-83 / DIN EN 50525-2-83 standards, guaranteeing its quality and safety. It is particularly recommended for installation in places exposed to high and low temperatures, as well as in industrial environments.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a flexible construction, thanks to the multi-strand tinned copper conductors of class 5. Silicone rubber insulation provides resistance to temperatures from -60°C to +180°C (short-term up to +220°C), as well as to many chemical substances, oils and lubricants. The cores are colored according to DIN VDE 0293-308 (up to 5 cores) or black with white numbering above 5 cores, which facilitates identification. In addition, the cable is halogen-free, which increases safety and minimizes the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire. The outer jacket is made of special silicone rubber in brick color.
