Silicone cable for extreme conditions

This multi-core HELUTHERM SiHF 18G1.5 mm² cable is a reliable solution for applications requiring high thermal resistance and flexibility. The cable is designed for installations in harsh industrial environments, but will also perform well in applications where standard cables fail. Its construction based on special silicone ensures safety and long-lasting performance.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a construction compliant with DIN VDE 0250 part 1 and DIN VDE 0285-525-2-83 / DIN EN 50525-2-83 standards. Made of stranded copper conductors, twisted in parallel, insulated with high-temperature silicone. The conductors are colored according to DIN VDE 0293-308 (up to 5 conductors colored, from 6 conductors black with white numbering) and have a yellow-green protective conductor (from 3 conductors). The whole is surrounded by a durable, silicone outer jacket in brick red color. This construction guarantees not only resistance to extreme temperatures, but also flexibility and ease of installation.
