Silicone cable for extreme conditions
HELUTHERM SiHF cable is a flexible, multi-core silicone cable designed for applications requiring high thermal resistance and flexibility. The silicone insulation construction ensures reliable operation over a wide temperature range, from -60°C to +180°C (short-term up to +220°C). This cable is ideal for installation in places exposed to extreme conditions, such as industrial furnaces, foundries, power plants or heating devices.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by copper conductors, twisted and insulated with special silicone. The conductors are colored according to DIN VDE 0293-308 standard (up to 5 cores) or black with white numbering (above 5 cores). The outer jacket is made of durable silicone in brick red color. Thanks to the materials used, the cable is resistant to radiation, oils, greases and many chemicals. Additionally, it is halogen-free, which increases safety. It provides a working voltage of 300/500 V and a test voltage of 2000 V.
