High-temperature resistant silicone cable HELUTHERM SiHF 25G0,5 mm² brick red, conductor identification acc. to DIN VDE 0293-308 23000
Silicone cable for extreme conditions
This 25-core HELUTHERM SiHF silicone cable is a solution for installations requiring high thermal resistance and flexibility. The cable is designed to operate in harsh conditions where standard cables fail. It is characterized by a wide operating temperature range, from -60°C to +180°C (short-term up to +220°C), making it an ideal choice for industrial and specialized applications.
This cable complies with DIN VDE 0250 part 1 and DIN VDE 0285-525-2-83 / DIN EN 50525-2-83 standards, guaranteeing its safety and reliability. Made of class 5 stranded copper wire, it provides good flexibility and easy installation. The silicone insulation provides not only resistance to extreme temperatures, but also dielectric properties and resistance to many chemicals, including oils, acids and bases.
Construction and application
The HELUTHERM SiHF cable has 25 cores with a cross-section of 0.5 mm², allowing it to be used in installations requiring a large number of wires. The cores are color-coded according to DIN VDE 0293-308 (colored up to 5 cores, from 6 cores black with white numbering), which facilitates identification during assembly and maintenance. Additionally, the cable can be equipped with a yellow-green protective core (from 3 cores).
Thanks to its properties, this cable finds application in many industries, such as power plants, steelworks, foundries, shipbuilding and cement plants. It will work everywhere where high thermal resistance and flexibility of connecting cables are required. This is particularly important in places exposed to high ambient temperatures or direct heat.
Key features and benefits
