This multi-core HELUTHERM SiHF cable is a reliable solution where standard cabling fails. Designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -60°C to +180°C (short-term up to +220°C) – it is ideal for demanding industrial applications such as power plants, foundries, steelworks or shipbuilding industry. Its flexible construction with twisted copper cores ensures easy installation, and the special silicone insulation guarantees safety and long-term operation.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction: twisted copper cores of class 5 (flexible multi-wire) are insulated with high-quality silicone, ensuring excellent dielectric properties even at elevated temperatures. The cores are colored according to DIN VDE 0293-308 for easy identification, and in the 3-core version there is also a yellow-green protective core. The whole is surrounded by a durable, silicone outer jacket in brick red color. This makes the cable resistant to many chemicals, including oils, greases, acids and alkalis. In addition, it is halogen-free and does not spread flames according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2 / IEC 60332-1-2.
