Silicone cable for extreme conditions
HELUTHERM SiHF 5G0.5 mm² cable is a flexible multi-core cable with silicone insulation, designed for operation in demanding thermal conditions. It is characterized by high temperature resistance, both in low and high ranges, making it an ideal solution for industrial and specialized applications. This cable is particularly recommended for installation in places exposed to extreme temperatures where standard cables fail.
Construction and properties
The cable is made of stranded wire twisted from soft tinned copper wires (class 5 according to PN-EN 60228), which ensures its flexibility and ease of installation. Silicone rubber insulation guarantees resistance to high temperatures – up to +180°C (short-term up to +220°C) and low temperatures – down to -60°C. The cores are colored according to DIN VDE 0293-308 (up to 5 cores), and from 6 cores have black insulation with white numbering for easy identification. The cable is halogen-free, which increases safety and minimizes the emission of toxic substances in the event of a fire. It provides operating voltage 300/500 V and has insulation resistance at the level of min. 20 MΩ·km.

Its chemical resistance to oils, vegetable and animal fats, and other substances makes it reliable even in difficult working conditions. Additionally, this cable is characterized by good dielectric properties at elevated temperatures and a high flash point. The outer diameter of the cable is 7.3 mm.
