High-temperature silicone cable – reliability in extreme conditions

This multi-core HELUTHERM SiHF cable is a solution for demanding applications where standard cabling fails. The cable is characterized by exceptional resistance to high and low temperatures, making it an ideal choice for working in harsh industrial environments. The use of special silicone ensures flexibility and long-lasting reliability.

This cable complies with DIN VDE 0250 part 1 and DIN VDE 0285-525-2-83 / DIN EN 50525-2-83 standards, which guarantees its safety and quality. This is particularly important for installations in industrial facilities where safety requirements are highest.

Construction and properties

The HELUTHERM SiHF cable stands out with its careful construction, which translates into its unique properties:

• Conductors: Multi-strand, flexible copper conductors, twisted from soft tinned wires (class 5 according to PN-EN 60228). This ensures good flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue.
• Insulation: Made of special silicone with high temperature resistance. This insulation is resistant to temperatures up to +180°C (short-term up to +220°C) and low temperatures down to -60°C.
• Conductor colors: Up to 5 conductors – colors according to DIN VDE 0293-308, above 5 conductors – black with white numbering. This makes it easier to identify the conductors during installation and servicing.
• Outer jacket: Made of special silicone rubber in brick red color. Provides additional mechanical and chemical protection.
• Protective conductor: Option available with a yellow-green protective conductor (from 3 conductors). This increases the safety of the installation.

The cable is halogen-free, which means it does not release toxic gases in the event of a fire. It also has high chemical resistance to oils, greases, alcohols and other aggressive substances.
