Silicone cables for extreme conditions
This multi-core HELUTHERM SiHF cable, with a cross-section of 16 mm², is designed to operate in demanding environments where standard cabling fails. It is characterized by exceptional resistance to high and low temperatures – from -60°C to +180°C, and briefly up to +220°C. This makes it an ideal solution in the metallurgical industry, steelworks, power plants, cement plants, and in aviation applications.
This cable also stands out for its flexibility and chemical resistance to oils, greases, acids and other aggressive substances. Made of twisted copper cores covered with silicone rubber insulation, it provides reliable connections even in the most extreme conditions. The brick-red coating color facilitates identification. The cable meets DIN VDE 0250 part 1 and DIN VDE 0285-525-2-83 / DIN EN 50525-2-83 standards and is halogen-free, increasing safety.

The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 24 mm, which should be taken into account when planning the installation. This cable is particularly recommended for applications where traditional cabling does not meet the requirements due to prevailing temperatures or an aggressive chemical environment.
