High-temperature silicone cable – reliability in extreme conditions
This 7-core HELUTHERM SiHF cable with a cross-section of 4 mm² is the ideal solution for applications requiring high thermal resistance and flexibility. The cable is designed for operation in harsh conditions, offering reliability and safety in demanding industrial environments. Its construction and materials ensure long-term operation even at extreme temperatures.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a multi-core construction with flexible, stranded tinned copper conductors, which ensures good conductivity and easy installation. The cores are insulated with special silicone, which guarantees resistance to high temperatures – up to +180°C, and briefly up to +220°C – and low temperatures down to -60°C. Additionally, the silicone insulation is resistant to many chemical substances, oils and lubricants. The outer jacket made of silicone in brick red color provides additional mechanical and chemical protection. The cable complies with DIN VDE 0250 part 1 and DIN VDE 0285-525-2-83 / DIN EN 50525-2-83 standards, which confirms its high quality and safety.
