Silicone cable for extreme conditions

This 16-core silicone cable is a solution for demanding applications where standard cables fail. Designed to operate in an extended temperature range, from -60°C to +180°C (short-term up to +220°C), it guarantees reliable operation even in the most extreme conditions. This is particularly important in installations exposed to high temperatures, where traditional cabling may be damaged or fail.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by high flexibility thanks to the multi-wire construction of the cores (class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295). The insulation and outer jacket made of silicone provide excellent dielectric properties and resistance to chemical and environmental factors. Additionally, it is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire – during combustion it leaves only a layer of SiO2. Core marking according to DIN VDE 0293-308 (colored or with white numbering) facilitates identification and improves comfort during installation.

The cable finds application in a wide range of industries, including: power plants, steel industry, aviation, shipbuilding, ceramics, glass and cement plants. It is ideal as a flexible connection cable in places exposed to high temperatures or requiring high flexibility. Its resistance to oils, fats, acids, alkalis and UV radiation makes it a universal solution for difficult working conditions. The cable meets UL Style 4476 and CSA AWM II A/B standards, confirming its high quality and safety of use. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 15.7 mm with a core cross-section of 1 mm². The rated voltage U is 500V.
