Silicone cable for extreme conditions
This 25-core silicone cable is designed to operate in demanding environments where standard cables fail. It features high temperature resistance, both continuous and short-term, making it an ideal choice for industrial and specialized applications. The halogen-free construction increases safety in the event of a fire, minimizing the emission of toxic gases.
Construction and properties
The cable is made of tinned copper cores, which ensures good conductivity and corrosion resistance. Silicone insulation guarantees flexibility even at low temperatures and maintains dielectric properties at high temperatures. The cores are longitudinally twisted to increase mechanical strength and ease of working with the cable. Core marking according to DIN VDE 0293-308 (colored or with white numbering) facilitates identification during installation. A yellow-green protective core (from 3 cores and above) provides additional safety. The outer silicone coating protects the cable from external factors and ensures its durability.
