This 25-core silicone cable is designed to operate in demanding environments where standard cables fail. It is characterized by high temperature resistance, flexibility and durability, making it an ideal choice for both professional installers and end-users who need a reliable solution. The cable meets UL/CSA standards, guaranteeing safety and compliance with international standards.

Construction and application

The cable is made of high-quality materials – tinned copper conductors (class 5 or 6 according to DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360, IEC 60228) insulated with silicone and an outer sheath made of silicone. This construction provides not only excellent electrical properties but also resistance to external factors. The cores are twisted longitudinally, and the protective conductor (yellow-green) is present from 3 cores and more. Core marking is carried out in accordance with DIN VDE 0293-308 – black or colored with white numbering (in the case of the two-core version, brown and blue).

The cable finds wide application in industry: power plants, steelworks, aviation, shipbuilding, glass and ceramics factories, and cement plants. It is perfect as a flexible connection cable in places exposed to high temperatures and difficult operating conditions.

  • High thermal resistance: The cable retains its properties in the temperature range from -60°C to +180°C (short-term up to +220°C) and from -50°C to +150°C according to UL/CSA standards. This is crucial in applications requiring operation in extreme thermal conditions.
  • Halogen-free: Meets DIN VDE 0482 part 267/DIN EN 50267-2-1/IEC 60754-1 standards, which means no halogens in the composition. In the event of a fire, it leaves only a SiO2 coating, minimizing the emission of toxic gases.
  • Chemical resistance: Exhibits resistance to mineral oils, vegetable and animal fats, alcohols, plasticizers, diluted acids and alkalis, and oxidizing agents.
  • Flexibility: Thanks to the construction with flexible copper conductors, the cable is easy to install and adapt to various configurations.
  • Compliance with standards: Meets the requirements of UL Style 4476 and CSA AWM II A/B standards and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.
  • High insulation: Provides a minimum insulation resistance of at least 200 MOhm x km and a breakdown voltage of at least 5000 V.
  • Radiation resistance: Withstands irradiation up to 20x10^6 cJ/kg (up to 20 Mrad).

The conductor cross-section is 1 mm², and the approximate outer diameter is 19.1 mm. The rated voltage U is 500 V. The cable is intended for permanent laying in open or ventilated cable ducts – remember about the potential reduction of the mechanical properties of silicone at temperatures exceeding 90°C in closed spaces.
