Silicone cable for extreme conditions

This black, multi-strand silicone cable is designed to operate in demanding environments where standard cabling fails. It is characterized by exceptional resistance to high and low temperatures, making it an ideal solution for a wide range of industrial applications. The cable meets UL/CSA standards, guaranteeing safety and reliability.

Construction and properties

The cable is made of multi-strand copper conductors (class 5), insulated with silicone. The strands are twisted longitudinally, and the whole is surrounded by a black silicone coating. The marking of the strands is carried out in accordance with DIN VDE 0293-308 – the strands are black or colored with white numbering. In multi-strand versions, there is also a yellow-green protective strand. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 10 mm, and the cross-section of a single strand is 1 mm². Thanks to the use of silicone as the insulation and coating material, the cable remains flexible even at extreme temperatures.

• Resistance to radiation up to 20x106 cJ/kg (20 Mrad).
• Resistance to oils, greases, alcohols, acids, alkalis and atmospheric conditions.
• Compliance with UL Style 4476 and CSA AWM II A/B and DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 / EN 60332-1-2 / IEC 60332-1 / CSA FT1 (does not spread flames).
• Rated voltage U up to 500V.
