Silicone cable for extreme conditions

This black, multi-strand silicone cable is designed to operate in demanding environments where standard cabling fails. Construction and properties

The cable is made of stranded copper conductors (class 5), providing flexibility and ease of installation. The insulation of the conductors and the outer jacket are made of silicone, which ensures temperature resistance up to +180°C (short-term up to +220°C) and maintains properties at temperatures as low as -60°C. The strands are twisted longitudinally, and a protective conductor (yellow-green) is present from 3 conductors upwards. Conductor marking is carried out in accordance with DIN VDE 0293-308 – black or colored with white numbering.

The cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire – during combustion it leaves only a SiO2 coating. Additionally, it exhibits resistance to many chemical substances, such as oils, greases, alcohols, acids and alkalis. It is also resistant to atmospheric conditions, UV radiation and water.
