Silicone cable for extreme conditions

This 5-core silicone cable, with a cross-section of 4 mm², is designed to operate in demanding environments where standard cabling fails. It is characterized by exceptional resistance to high and low temperatures, making it an ideal choice for industrial and specialized applications. The cable meets UL/CSA standards, guaranteeing safety and reliability.

Construction and properties

The cable is made of multi-strand copper conductors (class 5), providing flexibility and ease of installation. The insulation of the cores and the outer jacket are made of silicone, ensuring temperature resistance in the range of -60°C to +180°C (short-term up to +220°C). The cores are twisted longitudinally, and the protective conductor (yellow-green) is present from 3 cores upwards. Core identification is carried out in accordance with DIN VDE 0293-308 – black or colored cores with white numbering. The cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire and minimizes the emission of toxic substances.
