Silicone cable resistant to high temperatures with polyester braid H05SST-F 3G1,5 mm² black, conductor identification according to DIN VDE 0293-308 22352
Flexible cable H05SST-F – high temperature resistance
This multi-core cable with a polyester braid, designed for operation in harsh conditions, is characterized by high temperature resistance, reaching up to 180°C. It is an ideal solution where standard cables fail. The construction with cross-linked rubber insulation provides flexibility and durability, and the stranded copper conductors ensure reliable connections.
Construction and properties
The H05SST-F cable is characterized by a solid construction, designed for demanding industrial applications. Copper conductors, made in class 5 (flexible stranded), are insulated with cross-linked rubber (SiR) EI2, which provides excellent dielectric properties and insulation resistance even at high temperatures. The polyester braid additionally protects the cable against mechanical damage. However, caution should be exercised during installation in places with sharp edges.
- Conductors: Stranded copper, class 5 – provides flexibility and reliable connections.
- Insulation: Cross-linked rubber (SiR) EI2 – guarantees resistance to high temperatures and excellent dielectric properties.
- Braid: Polyester – additional protection against mechanical damage.
- Outer sheath: EM9 rubber – resistant to abrasion and external factors.
- Rated voltage: 300/500 V – universal application in electrical installations.
- Operating temperature: -60°C to +180°C (short-term up to +250°C) – possibility of use in extreme conditions.
Application and compliance with standards
This cable is widely used in industry, especially in the internal wiring of lighting fixtures and wherever resistance to high temperatures and contact with hot surfaces is required. It is ideal for stationary installations, protected from mechanical damage and with little mechanical stress. It meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).
- Wiring of lighting fixtures in industrial plants.
- Multi-core cables resistant to high temperatures according to DIN VDE 0285-525-2-83 / DIN EN 50525-2-83
- Applications requiring high thermal and mechanical resistance.
- Stationary installations protected from mechanical damage.
