Flexible cable H05SST-F – high temperature resistance
This flexible H05SST-F cable is a reliable solution for applications requiring resistance to extreme temperatures. The cable is designed to operate in harsh industrial conditions where standard cables might fail. It is characterized by high flexibility and durability, which translates to safety and long-term operation.
Construction and properties
The cable has three twisted copper conductors, with a cross-section of 1 mm², insulated with crosslinked rubber (SiR) EI2. The conductors are color-coded for easy identification, and the protective conductor is yellow-green. The whole is surrounded by a durable polyester braid and a coating of crosslinked rubber EM9 in black (RAL 9005). This construction provides resistance to abrasion, moisture and UV radiation.
It is worth noting the operating temperature range – from -60°C to +180°C (short-term up to +250°C). This makes the cable ideal for use near heat sources, such as industrial furnaces or lighting fixtures. The rated voltage U is 500 V, and the test voltage is 2000 V. The minimum resistivity is 200 MOhm x km.

Applications and compliance with standards
The H05SST-F cable is primarily used in industrial installations where there is exposure to high temperatures and contact with hot surfaces. It will be perfect for wiring furnaces, heating devices, lighting fixtures and other heat-generating devices. The minimum bending radius is 7.5x cable diameter for flexible bending and 4x cable diameter for fixed laying. The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-83 / DIN EN 50525-2-83 and the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). Fire behavior tests according to VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2 do not apply to cables with a polyester braid (type H05SST-F).
