Control and power cable for extreme conditions
This shielded SiHF-C-Si 10G1 mm² silicone cable in brick red is designed for applications requiring high thermal resistance and flexibility. It is ideal for installations where standard cables fail – both in heavy industry and in specialized equipment. The shielded construction ensures stable signal transmission, minimizing electromagnetic interference.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by an advanced construction that guarantees reliability and long-term operation. Made of stranded copper conductors (class 5), insulated with silicone, it provides excellent flexibility and resistance to bending. The conductors are twisted in parallel and color-coded according to DIN VDE 0293-308 (colored up to 5 conductors, black with white numbering from 6 conductors). A copper braid provides effective shielding, protecting against interference. The whole is surrounded by a special silicone outer jacket, providing resistance to external factors.
This cable stands out for its exceptional temperature resistance – the permissible operating temperature is from -60°C to +180°C (short-term up to +220°C). It is also resistant to oils, greases, alcohols, acids, alkalis and atmospheric conditions. In addition, it meets standards regarding halogen-free and non-flammability, which increases safety.
