Silicone control and power cable, shielded, high temperature resistant SiHF-C-Si 2x2.5 mm² brick red, conductor identification acc. to DIN VDE 0293-308 23187
Control and power cable for extreme conditions.
This shielded control and power cable, with silicone insulation, is designed for operation in demanding industrial environments and applications where standard solutions fail. It features exceptional resistance to high and low temperatures, making it an ideal choice for use in power plants, foundries, steelworks, shipyards, cement plants, and for wiring high-power heating and lighting devices.
This cable is distinguished by its construction ensuring reliability and safety. Made of stranded copper conductors class 5 (flexible multi-wire), coated with silicone insulation, it guarantees flexibility and long-term operation. The screen in the form of a braided copper wire provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is crucial for the proper operation of sensitive devices. Additionally, the cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire – in accordance with IEC 60332-1-2 and DIN VDE 0482 part 267 / DIN EN 50267-2-2 / IEC 60754-2.
The SiHF-C-Si cable is characterized by a wide range of operating temperatures – from -60°C to +180°C (short-term up to +220°C). It is also resistant to oils, greases, alcohols, acids, alkalis and atmospheric conditions. This makes it perfect for use in harsh industrial conditions. The color coding of the conductors in accordance with DIN VDE 0293-308 facilitates identification and improves installation safety. The cable is metered and available in reddish color.
### * Exceptional thermal resistance: Operation in a temperature range from -60°C to +180°C (short-term up to +220°C) allows for use in extreme conditions. ### * Shielding: Braided copper wire minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC), ensuring stable signal transmission. ### * Halogen-free: Increased fire safety thanks to compliance with IEC 60332-1-2 and DIN VDE 0482 part 267 / DIN EN 50267-2-2 / IEC 60754-2. ### * Chemical resistance: Resistance to oils, greases, alcohols and other chemicals ensures long-term operation in an aggressive environment. ### * Flexibility: Multi-wire conductor construction makes installation and routing of cables in tight spaces easier. ### * Compliance with standards: Meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0250 part 1 and DIN VDE 0285-525-2-83 / DIN EN 50525-2-83.Key technical parameters include a rated voltage U of 500 V, a rated conductor cross-section of 2.5 mm², an approximate outer diameter of 12 mm, and an allowable ambient temperature during installation and operation in the range of -60°C to +180°C. The cable has a braided screen as a common screen and contains two working conductors.
This cable is a solid solution for professionals looking for reliable cabling in harsh industrial conditions – both for installers who value ease of installation and durability, and for end-users expecting safe and trouble-free operation of devices.
