Silicone shielded control and power cable – reliability in extreme conditions

This specialized cable, made of silicone, is designed to operate in demanding environments where standard solutions fail. Construction and properties

The SiHF-C-Si 5G4 mm² cable features an advanced construction ensuring long-lasting and trouble-free operation. It has five stranded copper conductors with a cross-section of 4 mm², which guarantees adequate conductivity and flexibility. The conductors are insulated with high-quality silicone, providing resistance to extreme temperatures – from -60°C to +180°C (short-term up to +220°C). The screen in the form of a copper wire braid protects against electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is particularly important in control and measurement applications. The whole is surrounded by a special outer coating of silicone in brick color, providing additional mechanical and chemical protection.
