Control and power cable for extreme conditions

This specialized control and power cable, made with silicone insulation, is designed for operation in demanding industrial environments and applications where standard solutions fail. It is characterized by exceptional resistance to high and low temperatures, making it an ideal choice for use in power plants, foundries, steelworks, shipbuilding industry, cement plants, and for wiring high-power heating and lighting devices.

The SiHF-C-Si 25G0.75mm² cable features a construction that ensures reliability and safety. It has 25 copper strands with a cross-section of 0.75 mm², twisted in parallel for flexibility and ease of installation. The strands are insulated with silicone, which guarantees resistance to extreme temperatures – from -60°C to +180°C (short-term up to +220°C). Additionally, the cable is shielded with a tinned copper wire braid, minimizing electromagnetic interference and ensuring stable signal transmission. This shield should be securely connected to the terminals (e.g., using cable glands) for optimal EMC protection.

The cable construction also includes an inner silicone lining and an outer silicone jacket in reddish-brown color. These materials provide resistance to a wide range of chemicals – oils, greases, alcohols, acids, and alkalis – as well as to UV radiation and weather conditions. The cable meets safety standards regarding halogen-free and non-flammability (IEC 60332-1-2), increasing safety in the event of a fire. This makes it a solution that meets the stringent requirements of modern industrial installations.
