Highly durable FEP cable for extreme conditions
This single-core HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y cable is designed for applications requiring high temperature resistance and aggressive chemical environments. Made of silver-plated copper and insulated with FEP fluoropolymer, it ensures reliable operation even in the most demanding conditions. The cable is particularly recommended for installations in furnaces, brickworks, heating devices, kitchens, and in the chemical industry.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a flexible construction with a multi-strand silver-plated copper core (class 5). The FEP (fluoropolymer) insulation provides exceptional resistance to:
- high temperatures (up to +205°C, briefly up to +230°C),
- low temperatures (down to -100°C),
- aggressive chemicals – alkalis, acids, solvents, oils and gasoline,
- flames – meets IEC 60332-1-2 standard for fire resistance.
- UV radiation.
Additionally, the materials used in production are silicone and cadmium-free, ensuring safety and compatibility with various applications. The cable is also resistant to the development of microorganisms and fungi and is characterized by minimal water absorption.

The approximate outer diameter is 1.2 mm. The insulation resistance is a minimum of 2 GOhm/km, ensuring high-quality electrical connection.
