Highly durable FEP cable for extreme conditions.

This single-core cable with FEP fluoropolymer insulation is a solution for demanding applications where standard cables fail. It is characterized by exceptional resistance to high temperatures – from -100°C to +205°C (short-term up to +230°C) – making it an ideal choice for use in furnaces, heating devices, brickworks or in the chemical industry. This cable is also resistant to aggressive chemicals such as alkalis, acids, oils and gasoline.

Construction and application

The HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y cable has been designed for reliability and durability. Made of tinned copper, it provides good conductivity and corrosion resistance. Its flexible construction (conductor class 5 – flexible stranded) makes it easy to install and route in tight spaces. The minimum bending radius is 10x cable diameter for flexible bending and 4x for stationary bending. It is intended for installation in switchgear cabinets and in the construction of devices operating in difficult thermal conditions.

• Waterproof: Completely waterproof with minimal water permeability (approx. 0.18 mg/cm2 in 24 hours).
• Microbiological resistance: Prevents the growth of fungi and microorganisms.

This cable complies with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). The rated voltage U0/U is 600V, and the conductor cross-section is 0.14 mm². The approximate outer diameter is 1.2 mm.
