Special applications single-core FEP cable

This single-core HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y cable is designed to operate in extreme conditions requiring resistance to high temperatures and aggressive chemical environments. Made of tinned copper and insulated with FEP fluoropolymer, it ensures reliable operation in demanding industrial applications and installations. This cable is used both in the construction of control panels and in heating devices, furnaces, as well as in the chemical industry.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a flexible construction with a multi-strand tinned copper core (class 5), which facilitates installation and ensures good flexibility. The insulation made of HELUFLON® FEP fluoropolymer guarantees exceptional resistance to:

• High temperatures – up to +205°C (short-term up to +230°C) and low temperatures down to -100°C.
• Chemicals – alkalis, acids, oils, gasoline and other aggressive substances.
• Flames – self-extinguishing material, tested according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-1 standards.
• Microorganisms and fungal growth – ensures hygiene and durability in demanding conditions.
• Ozone and climate change – maintains its properties for a long time.

Additionally, the cable is characterized by low water permeability and the absence of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting.
