Highly durable FEP cable for extreme conditions
This single-core HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y cable is a specialized solution designed for operation in demanding environments. It is characterized by exceptional resistance to high temperatures and aggressive chemicals, making it an ideal choice for both professional installers and end-users who need reliable conduction in difficult conditions. This cable is particularly valued in industrial installations, switchgear cabinet construction, and applications requiring high resistance to external factors.
Construction and properties
The cable is made of tinned copper, which ensures good conductivity and corrosion resistance. The FEP (HELUFLON®) fluoropolymer insulation guarantees a wide range of operating temperatures – from -100°C to +205°C (short-term up to +230°C). The flexible stranded wire (class 5) facilitates installation and provides flexibility in cable routing. This cable is also distinguished by its high resistance to radiation, microorganisms, and fungal growth. It is completely waterproof and does not absorb moisture, which further increases its durability and reliability. The materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free, and do not contain substances that interfere with painting.

Additionally, the cable meets the IEC 60332-1-2 standard regarding fire resistance and is tested according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 and DIN EN 60332-1-2. The insulation resistance is a minimum of 2 GOhm/km, which guarantees safe and efficient power transmission. The minimum bending radius is 4x cable diameter for stationary installation and 10x cable diameter for flexible installation.
