Single-core FEP wire – reliability in extreme conditions

This specialized wire with FEP fluoropolymer insulation combines flexibility and exceptional resistance to external factors. Ideal for applications requiring operation at high temperatures, in an aggressive chemical environment, or exposed to flames. Made of silver-plated copper, it provides excellent conductivity and long-lasting reliability.

Construction and properties – the key to versatility

The HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y wire is characterized by a construction that ensures high flexibility and mechanical resistance. The strand made of silver-plated copper, surrounded by FEP (fluoropolymer) insulation, guarantees electrical stability even in difficult conditions. The silver plating of the strand increases its resistance to corrosion and lowers the transition resistance, which translates into efficient signal transmission. FEP insulation provides resistance to high temperatures (up to +205°C, briefly up to +230°C) and aggressive chemical substances – alkalis, acids, oils and gasoline. The wire is also radiation resistant and flame retardant, which increases safety.

The insulation resistance is at least 2 GOhm/km, ensuring effective protection against leakage currents.
