This single-core HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y cable is the ideal solution where standard cables fail. Made of tinned copper and insulated with FEP fluoropolymer, it ensures reliable operation in extreme temperature and chemical conditions. The cable is designed for a wide range of applications – from installations in furnaces and heating devices to the chemical industry, where resistance to aggressive substances is crucial.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a flexible, stranded wire construction (class 5), which facilitates installation and ensures good flexibility. The FEP-HELUFLON® insulation guarantees exceptional resistance to high temperatures (up to +205°C, briefly up to +230°C) and to the action of flames, acids, alkalis, oils and gasoline. Additionally, the materials used in production do not contain silicone or cadmium, making it environmentally friendly and suitable for use in the food industry. Low dielectric losses translate to energy efficiency of the installation.
