This high-quality single-core wire with fluoropolymer FEP insulation (HELUFLON®) is designed to operate in demanding conditions where standard wires fail. Construction and properties

The HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y wire features a silver-plated copper conductor, ensuring excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The FEP fluoropolymer insulation guarantees a wide operating temperature range – from -100°C to +205°C (short-term up to +230°C). This makes the wire perfect for applications exposed to extreme temperature changes, such as furnaces, heating devices, or industrial installations. Additionally, the insulation material is resistant to flames, alkalis, acids, food products, oils, and gasoline.

The wire meets IEC 60332-1-2 standard regarding fire resistance. It also has high insulation resistance (minimum 2 GOhm/km) and minimal water permeability, ensuring long-lasting and reliable operation in humid environments. The materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free, and do not contain substances that interfere with painting.
