This single-core HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y cable is a specialized solution designed for operation in demanding environments. It is characterized by exceptional resistance to high temperatures – both in continuous operation (up to +205°C) and short-term peaks (up to +230°C) – making it an ideal choice for industrial applications where standard cables fail. The silver-plated copper conductor ensures excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance, while the FEP fluoropolymer insulation guarantees long-term reliability.
Construction and properties
This cable stands out with its construction adapted to extreme conditions. A flexible stranded conductor (class 5) provides flexibility and facilitates installation, even in tight spaces. FEP-HELUFLON® insulation guarantees not only thermal resistance but also chemical resistance – the cable is resistant to flames, alkalis, acids, oils and gasoline. In addition, the materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free and do not contain substances that interfere with painting. The cable also features high insulation resistance (minimum 2 GOhm/km) and low water permeability.
