Single-core FEP wire, resistant to high temperatures HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y 1x1.5 mm² brown, conductor: tinned copper 25564
High-temperature cable for demanding applications
This brown, single-core HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y cable with a cross-section of 1.5 mm² is a reliable solution for installations exposed to extreme thermal and chemical conditions. Made of tinned copper and coated with a fluoropolymer FEP insulation, it ensures long-lasting and safe operation in harsh environments. The cable is characterized by high flexibility thanks to the multi-wire strand construction (class 5), which facilitates installation and routing.
Durability and resistance to external factors
The HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y cable stands out for its exceptional resistance to a range of external factors. The FEP insulation guarantees resistance to high temperatures (up to +205°C, briefly up to +230°C) and to chemicals such as alkalis, acids, oils and gasoline. Additionally, it is completely resistant to ozone and climate change. Thanks to these properties, it is ideal for the chemical industry, bakeries, heating devices and anywhere high reliability and safety are required. The rated voltage U0/U is 600V.
Application and installation
Designed for the construction of switchgear cabinets, ovens, heating devices and installations in the chemical industry. The flexible strand construction facilitates routing of cables even in tight spaces. The minimum bending radius for flexible installation is 10x the cable diameter, and for stationary installation 4x the cable diameter. The cable complies with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU. The conductor cross-section of 1.5 mm² provides adequate performance for many electrical applications. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 2.4 mm.
