Single-core FEP wire, resistant to high temperatures HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y 1x1 mm² black, conductor: silver-plated copper 20301
Highly durable FEP cable for extreme conditions.
This single-core HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y cable is designed for applications requiring high thermal and chemical resistance. Made of silver-plated copper and insulated with FEP fluoropolymer, it is ideal for harsh industrial environments and installations where standard cables fail. Its flexible construction simplifies installation, and high-quality workmanship guarantees long-lasting and reliable operation.
Construction and properties
The cable features a solid construction – a single silver-plated copper core provides excellent conductivity, and FEP (fluoropolymer) insulation guarantees exceptional resistance to external factors. The multi-strand wire class 5 provides flexibility and ease of routing in tight spaces. This cable is designed to operate in a temperature range from -100°C to +205°C (short-term up to +230°C), making it an ideal solution for heating devices, furnaces, brickworks and industrial installations.
- Chemical resistance: completely resistant to flames, alkalis, acids, food, oils and gasoline – ideal for use in the chemical and food industries.
- High operating temperature: a temperature range of -100°C to +205°C allows use in extreme thermal conditions.
- Dielectric properties: low dielectric losses ensure stable operation in various applications.
- Safety: self-extinguishing and flame-retardant material, meeting the standards of DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-1.
- Additional features: resistant to microorganisms, non-flammable, waterproof and does not contain silicone or cadmium.
Applications and parameters
The HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y cable finds application in a wide range of installations:
- Industrial installations: furnaces, brickworks, heating devices, cookers.
- Chemical industry: cables resistant to aggressive chemicals.
- Construction of switchgear cabinets: in places exposed to high temperatures.
- Measuring devices: ensuring stable operation in difficult conditions.
The cable has a cross-section of 1 mm², a rated voltage of 600 V and an approximate outer diameter of 2 mm. The insulation resistance is at least 2 GOhm/km, and the minimum bending radius is 4x the cable diameter for stationary installations and 10x the cable diameter for flexible installations. The test voltage is 2500 V.
