High-temperature cable for demanding applications
This brown, single-core HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y cable with a cross-section of 1 mm² is a specialized solution for installations exposed to extreme temperatures and aggressive chemical environments. Made of tinned copper and coated with FEP fluoropolymer insulation, it ensures reliable and safe operation in harsh conditions. This cable is used both in the construction of switchgear cabinets and in heating devices, bakeries, the chemical industry, and anywhere where resistance to flames, acids, alkalis, oils and other chemicals is required.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a flexible construction with a multi-strand tinned copper core (class 5), which facilitates installation and ensures good flexibility. The FEP-HELUFLON® insulation guarantees high temperature resistance – from -100°C to +205°C (short-term up to +230°C) – and excellent dielectric properties. In addition, the insulating material is completely resistant to ozone and climate change, and is not biodegradable by microorganisms. It is worth noting that the cable is flame retardant and meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.
