Specialized cable for extreme conditions
This single-core HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y cable is designed for applications requiring high thermal and chemical resistance. Made of silver-plated copper and insulated with FEP fluoropolymer, it is perfect for installations exposed to extreme temperatures, aggressive chemicals, and industrial environments.
Construction and properties
The cable features a flexible construction with a stranded copper conductor (class 5 according to VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228). The FEP-HELUFLON® insulation provides excellent dielectric properties and radiation resistance, as well as resistance to microorganisms and fungal growth. Additionally, the materials used in production are silicone and cadmium-free, minimizing the risk of interference in painting processes.
This cable stands out with a wide operating temperature range – from -100°C to +205°C (short-term up to +230°C) – making it an ideal choice for furnaces, heating devices, brickworks and other applications requiring operation at elevated temperatures. The rated voltage is 600 V, and the insulation resistance is at least 2 GOhm/km.
