Single-core high-temperature wire HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y

This specialized wire with FEP fluoropolymer insulation combines flexibility and reliability, offering exceptional resistance to extreme conditions. Ideal for applications requiring high thermal and chemical resistance, it can be used in both industrial installations and switchboard construction. Made of silver-plated copper, it provides excellent conductivity and long-lasting operation.

Construction and properties

The HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y wire is characterized by a construction that ensures high flexibility and durability. The core is made of silver-plated copper, which minimizes electrical resistance and increases corrosion resistance. FEP fluoropolymer insulation guarantees resistance to high temperatures (up to +205°C, briefly up to +230°C) and aggressive chemicals – alkalis, acids, oils, and gasoline. Additionally, the insulating material is flame retardant and resistant to microorganisms, increasing safety.

The wire has a cross-section of 10 mm², making it suitable for transmitting higher currents. Its outer diameter is approximately 5.4 mm. The rated voltage U0/U is 600 V, ensuring safe operation in many applications. The minimum bending radius is 4x the cable diameter for stationary installation and 10x the cable diameter for flexible installation.
