Single-core FEP wire for extreme conditions
This high-quality single-core wire with fluoropolymer FEP insulation (HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y) is designed for applications requiring resistance to high temperatures and aggressive chemical environments. It is ideal for both industrial installations and the construction of switchboard cabinets. Its construction ensures reliability and long-term operation even in the most demanding conditions.
Construction and properties
The wire is characterized by a silver-plated copper core, which minimizes energy losses and ensures excellent conductivity. The FEP-HELUFLON® insulation guarantees temperature resistance in the range of -100°C to +205°C (short-term up to +230°C), as well as resistance to flames, alkalis, acids, food, oils and gasoline. Additionally, the wire is flame retardant and radiation resistant. Its flexible construction facilitates installation, and the high dielectric strength (min. 20 kV) ensures safe use.
