Single-core FEP wire for extreme conditions
This high-quality single-core wire with fluoropolymer FEP insulation (HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y) is designed for applications requiring resistance to high temperatures and aggressive chemical environments. Ideal for both professionals and home use where standard wires fail.
Construction and properties
The wire is characterized by a silver-plated copper core, which ensures excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The FEP (fluoropolymer) insulation guarantees exceptional temperature resistance – from -100°C to +205°C (short-term up to +230°C) – and resistance to flames, alkalis, acids, oils, gasoline and food products. Additionally, the materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting. The wire is also resistant to radiation and the development of microorganisms.
