High-temperature cable for demanding applications

This single-core HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y cable, made of silver-plated copper and FEP fluoropolymer insulation, is designed to operate in extreme conditions. Its exceptional resistance to temperature, chemicals, and radiation makes it an ideal choice for both professional installers and end-users who need a reliable solution. The cable is used in cabinet installations, furnaces, heating devices, the chemical industry, and anywhere high resistance to harsh environmental conditions is required.

Construction and properties

The cable features a flexible stranded construction (class 5 according to VDE/BS/IEC), which facilitates installation and routing. The FEP-HELUFLON® insulation provides excellent dielectric properties and high resistance to mechanical damage. Additionally, the materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free, and do not interfere with painting. It is worth noting that the cable is flame-retardant, resistant to microorganisms, and completely waterproof – which translates to safety and long-term operation. The insulation resistance is at least 2 GOhm/km ensuring stable operation.

The conductor cross-section of 2.5 mm² allows for safe conduction of currents with a rated voltage of 600V (U) / 600V (U0). The approximate outer diameter of the cable is 2.8 mm.
