Single-core FEP wire, resistant to high temperatures HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y 1x2.5 mm² yellow-green, conductor: tinned copper 25577
High-temperature cable for demanding applications
This single-core HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y cable is a specialized solution designed for operation in extreme conditions. It is characterized by exceptional resistance to high temperatures and aggressive chemical environments, making it an ideal choice for both professional installers and end-users looking for a reliable and safe solution.
Construction and properties
The cable is made of tinned copper wire, ensuring good conductivity and corrosion resistance. The FEP (HЕЛUFLON®) fluoropolymer insulation guarantees a wide range of operating temperatures – from -100°C to +205°C (short-term up to +230°C). This makes the cable perfect for applications requiring stability in difficult thermal conditions. Additionally, the FEP insulation provides excellent dielectric properties and resistance to chemicals, oils, gasoline, acids, and bases. The cable is also flame retardant and resistant to microbial growth.
Applications
The HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y cable finds wide application in:
- Installations and construction of control cabinet switchboards in places exposed to high temperatures.
- Furnaces, brickworks, and heating devices.
- Kitchen and measuring devices.
- Chemical industries – as a cable resistant to aggressive chemicals.
- Applications requiring high radiation resistance.
- Where resistance to ozone and the absence of silicone and cadmium are required.
The wire cross-section of 2.5 mm² and the rated voltage of 600V make this cable a universal solution for many electrical applications. The approximate outer diameter is 2.8 mm and the wire has flexibility class 5 (multi-strand flexible).
