Single-core FEP wire for extreme conditions

This brown HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y single-core wire with a cross-section of 4 mm² is a specialized solution for applications requiring high thermal and chemical resistance. Made of tinned copper and insulated with FEP fluoropolymer, it ensures reliable operation in harsh industrial conditions and special installations.

Construction and properties

The wire is characterized by a flexible construction with a multi-strand core (class 5), which facilitates installation and routing. The FEP (fluoropolymer) insulation guarantees exceptional resistance to high temperatures (up to +205°C, briefly up to +230°C) and aggressive chemicals – alkalis, acids, oils, gasoline, and food products. Additionally, the material is resistant to radiation, microorganisms, and fungal growth. It provides minimal water absorption and water permeability, increasing its durability in humid environments.
