This specialized wire with FEP fluoropolymer insulation is a solution for demanding applications where standard wires fail. It is characterized by exceptional resistance to high temperatures, aggressive chemicals, and harsh environmental conditions. Ideal for both industrial applications and in the construction of switchboard cabinets.

Construction and application

The HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y wire is designed to operate in extreme temperatures – from -100°C to +205°C (short-term up to +230°C). Its construction based on a silver-plated copper core ensures excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The wire finds wide application in:

• installations and construction of switchboard cabinets exposed to high temperatures,
• furnaces, brickworks and heating devices,
• kitchen and measuring devices,
• chemical industry – thanks to its resistance to flames, alkalis, acids, food, oils and gasoline.
• where resistance to UV radiation is required.
