High-temperature cable for demanding applications

This single-core HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y cable is a specialized solution for installations exposed to extreme temperatures and aggressive chemical environments. Made of silver-plated copper and insulated with FEP fluoropolymer, it ensures reliable operation in harsh conditions. The cable is used both in the construction of switchgear cabinets and in heating devices, bakeries, the chemical industry, and everywhere where resistance to flames, acids, alkalis, oils and gasoline is required.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a flexible construction with a multi-strand silver-plated copper core (class 5 according to VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228). The HELUFLON FEP fluoropolymer insulation provides exceptional thermal resistance – from -100°C to +205°C (short-term up to +230°C) – and chemical resistance. In addition, this material is non-flammable, resistant to microorganisms and fungal growth, completely waterproof, and does not contain silicone or cadmium. The insulation resistance is at least 2 GOhm/km.

The HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y cable guarantees reliability and safety in the most demanding industrial and domestic applications. The rated voltage U0/U is 600V and the core cross-section is 6 mm². The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 4.1 mm.
