This single-core HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y cable is a specialized solution designed for operation in extreme conditions. Made of silver-plated copper and insulated with FEP fluoropolymer, it ensures reliable operation in environments with high temperatures, aggressive chemicals, and exposure to radiation. Ideal for both professional installers and end-users who need a durable and safe solution.
Construction and Properties
The cable is characterized by a flexible construction with a stranded wire (class 5 according to VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228). The FEP-HELUFLON® insulation guarantees exceptional resistance to external factors. Thanks to this, the cable is flame retardant, resistant to microorganisms, fungal growth and completely waterproof. In addition, the materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting. The cable retains its properties over a wide temperature range – from -100°C to +205°C (short-term up to +230°C), and the silver-plated cores allow operation at temperatures up to +200°C. The insulation resistance is at least 2 GOhm/km, and the test voltage is 2500 V.
