Single-core PTFE wire HELUFLON®-PTFE-5Y 1xAWG14/19 (1.94 mm²) blue, 1000 V 25453
Robust PTFE cable for extreme conditions
This blue HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y T.EE 1000V cable is a specialized solution for applications requiring exceptional resistance to external factors. Made of silver-plated copper and insulated with PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), it ensures reliable operation even in the most difficult conditions. This cable is ideal for both professional installers and end-users who need a durable and safe solution.
Construction and properties
The cable features a solid construction: a silver-plated copper core provides good conductivity, and HELUFLON® PTFE insulation guarantees resistance to high temperatures (up to +260°C, briefly up to +300°C) and aggressive chemicals. The PTFE meets the MIL-W 16878 standard, confirming its high quality. Additionally, the cable is resistant to radiation, microorganisms, and fungal growth. Its minimal water permeability and lack of silicone or cadmium make it safe for the environment and health. The self-extinguishing and flame-retardant material, tested according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-1 standards, provides additional safety.
Applications and benefits
The HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y cable is widely used in installations operating in extreme thermal conditions – in furnaces, brickworks, kitchen appliances or measuring devices. It will also be useful in the chemical industry, where it is exposed to contact with flames, acids, bases, solvents, oils and gasoline. Thanks to its high insulation resistance and low electrical losses, it ensures efficient energy transmission. The minimum bending radius (10 x cable diameter) makes installation easier even in tight spaces. Available cable colors (black, red, blue, brown, white and others) allow for easy identification of conductors in the installation. The possibility of ordering a tinned or nickel-plated core on request increases flexibility to suit specific needs.
